The Wainuiomata Historical Museum aims to foster and promote the study and appreciation of history, with a special focus on Wainuiomata and its surrounding areas. The museum is open to visitors on Sundays from 2 to 4 pm. It is situated on Main Road, Wainuiomata, within the grounds of Wainuiomata Primary School.
