Ecuador may be a small country, but it punches way above its weight when it comes to tourist attractions and diversity. The country is divided into four main regions. From east to west they are, the Galapagos, the Pacific coast, the Andes, and the Amazon.
Ecuador is the richest nation on Earth for bio-diversity, (9.2 species per square kilometer). This is mainly due to the Galapagos and the Amazon. But the other two regions are also rich and diverse.
