The Library of Spain in Medellin is an imposing piece of architecture that hovers over the city of Medellin. Located in the suburb of Santo Domingo Savio, it was part of an initiative by local government to open up the poorer barrios of the city. Inside, locals get access to laptops and free internet. The library can be reached via the Medellin Metrocable which was also part of the same government initiative.
