The Hanging Crab Claw, also known as Heliconia rostrata, is a species of the Heliconia genus of plants, which is native to Central and South America, including the Amazon rainforest. It is a tropical perennial plant that grows as a herbaceous perennial, and it’s known for its striking, brightly colored bracts that resemble the claw of a crab. The plant can grow as a shrub or small tree, and it can reach heights of up to 6 meters.
