The Wellington Cenotaph, also known as the Wellington Citizens’ War Memorial, is a prominent war memorial located at the intersection of Lambton Quay and Bowen Street, near New Zealand’s Parliament in Wellington. It was unveiled in 1931 to honor those who served in World War I, but it was later rededicated to also commemorate the soldiers who fought in World War II.
