A rescue is underway when a helicopter plunged into Pauatahanui Inlet in Porirua Harbour, north of Wellington. The rescue operation was carried out by the national rescue center in collaboration with the police, the Civil Aviation Authority, the Transport Accident Investigation Commission, and the harbor master of the region.
