Fox Glacier is located in New Zealand, on the South Island’s West Coast. It is situated very close to an ancient temperate rainforest near Westland Tai Poutini National Park, which is part of the larger Te Wahipounamu UNESCO World Heritage site. This area is known for its lush temperate rainforests, and the park receives very high levels of rainfall.
