The Australian fan palm, also known as the Australian cabbage palm or Livistona mariae, is a species of palm tree native to Australia. It is a large, slow-growing palm that can reach heights of up to 30 meters (98 feet) and has large, fan-shaped leaves that can be up to 2.5 meters (8 feet) in diameter. The Australian fan palm is found in a variety of habitats, including rainforests, wet sclerophyll forests, and coastal areas. It is a popular ornamental plant and is grown in gardens and parks around the world.
