Pictured is Avenida Septima in the Colombian city of Bogota, circa 2002. Avenida Septima in Bogotá, Colombia is a major thoroughfare in the city. It runs east to west and is one of the longest avenues in the city, stretching from the neighborhoods of Teusaquillo and Chapinero in the west to the neighborhoods of Kennedy and Fontibón in the east. The avenue passes through several important areas of the city, including the historic center, the financial district, and the main university campus. It is also a major transportation corridor, with several bus rapid transit (BRT) lines running along the avenue. View the same location seven years later.
