The Devil’s Throat (Garganta del Diablo in Spanish) is the largest and most impressive of the individual falls at Iguazu Falls, which is located on the border of Argentina and Brazil. It is located on the Argentine side of the falls, and is a U-shaped cataract that is almost 800 feet wide and 82 feet high. The Devil’s Throat is the point where the Iguazu River drops the most, and it is where the majority of the water flows through. The view from the Devil’s Throat is spectacular, as the water plummets down into the gorge, creating a massive curtain of water and spray.
