Oceania is made up of many islands ranging from Australia, New Guinea, New Zealand, and to the much smaller South Pacific isles. While some consider Australia to be the largest island in the world, it is technically a continental land-mass.
New Zealand’s land area is bigger than all the South Pacific Islands combined yet it it fits into Australia almost 29 times. Papua New Guinea is bigger in area than New Zealand making it the second largest island in Oceania.
