The General Assembly Library, now known as the Parliamentary Library is located in the New Zealand Parliament Grounds, 1 Molesworth Street and 1 Museum Street, Pipitea, WELLINGTON. Construction started in 1897, and was completed in 1899. It stands on the former site of Wellington’s Provincial Government Building.
