Wairoa is a small town in New Zealand. It is located on the banks of the Wairoa River and SH2 (State Highway 2) in the North Island. Being the northernmost town in the Hawke’s Bay region, its climate is warm with year round rainfall. The closest city is Gisborne at 92 kilometres to the south.
