Looking down onto the desert plains below from atop Uluru in the Northern Territory, (circa 1988). Uluru is a massive sandstone monolith that stands at an impressive height of over 340 meters (1,110 feet) and stretches for approximately 3.6 kilometers (2.2 miles).
