Looking at the main beach in Lorne in Victoria with the town center tucked behind the beach. Sitting on nature’s doorstep, there is a lot to do in Lorne as two national parks straddle the area. You can visit Port Campbell National Park and see some of the best coastal wonders in all of Australia. Outside of the park is an abundance of beaches suitable for surfing, swimming, or boating. Just behind the town is Otway National Park – the largest tract of temperate rainforest in southern Australia. There are a number of scenic walks inside the forest to scenic waterfalls. The town itself has a wide array of accommodation options as well as offering fine dining and numerous quality cafes.
