Piccabeen Palms grow near the coast and border region of New South Wales and Queensland. The palm is common in the Gondwana Rainforest in a number of subtropical national parks . Locations include Mt Tamborine, Mt Warning Volcano, and both Springbrook National Park and Lamington National Park.
