The Gateway Arch is the tallest monument in the USA at 192 meters (630-feet). The stainless steel clad structure dominates the St Louis skyline and is one of the most recognizable structures of an American city. It represents the gateway to westward expansion of the United States. The arch is to St Louis what the Statue of Liberty is to New York.
