About New Caledonia

Our photos of New Caledonia include locations as diverse as the French city of Noumea (the capital) to areas of the beaten path. We visit the stunning Isle of Pines, mysterious Mouac Island (Divine Island), and the isolated Loyalty Islands group. On route we meet the Kanak people and experience their unique culture as well as the French people for whom New Caledonia is home. We capture these two cultures existing side by side deep in the South Pacific. From traditional kanak huts to Renault cars, New Caledonia is an amazing travel destination.

Our trip to New Caledonia dates back to 2004. View our photos of New Caledonia including the main city of Noumea, silica sand beaches, isolated reefs, and the local flora and fauna.
