Great Ocean Road Map

The Great Ocean Road is considered the greatest coastal drive in Australia. It is an Australian National Heritage listed road. Officially starting in Torquay and Allansford at each end, it stretches for 243 kilometres (151 miles) along the southern coast of the state of Victoria. The road traverses beaches, cliffs, limestone and sandstone stacks, temperate rainforests, and a number of small coastal towns.

Highlights along this road include:

  • Port Campbell National Park. Features include: limestone stacks, grottos, caves, beaches, stunning coastal view.
  • The Twelve Apostles. Features include: the most prominent series of limestone stacks.
  • Great Otway National Park. Features include: rainforest, waterfalls, koalas, and other native animals.
