The Gondwana Rainforests of Australia, also known as the Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves, are a group of protected areas in eastern Australia. These forests are home to a diverse array of plant and animal species, many of which are found nowhere else on Earth.

The rainforests are located in New South Wales and Queensland, and are recognized as a World Heritage site due to their outstanding natural values. The rainforests are home to a wide range of plant communities, including subtropical rainforests, warm temperate rainforests, and cool temperate rainforests.

Some of the plant species found in the Gondwana Rainforests include ancient trees like the Antarctic beech and the tallowwood, as well as a variety of ferns, palms, and epiphytes. These rainforests are also home to a wide range of animal species, including marsupials, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.
