Davies Creek National Park is located in the Atherton Tablelands in Northern Queensland, about 20km (12 mi) south-west of Cairns but 53km (32mi) by road. The creek itself cascades down many granite plateaus forming dozens of natural pools ideal for swimming. The main feature is Davies Creek Falls which drops 100 metres (330 ft). Other features include granite outcrops and open forest with a number of walking tracks.
The park has a camp site but is not frequented by many visitors due to its rather isolated location. The entrance to the park is off Davies Creek Road which is off Kennedy Highway between the towns of Kuranda and Mareeba.
