Looking at Norway and its position in Europe.
Norway is situated on the western side of the Scandinavian Peninsula. It shares a long border with Sweden and a shorter border with both Finland and Russia.
Norway also sits mainly in the Norwegian Sea, but the south of the country dips into the North Sea while the extreme north sits in the Barents Sea.
Svalbard is an island group in the Arctic Ocean to the north of the mainland. It is under the full sovereignty of Norway.
