The continent of Europe resides in the northern hemisphere between North America, Asia, and Africa. The extremities of Europe include Norway to the north, Greece to the south, Russia (Asia) to the east, and Portugal to the west. Europe is basically a huge peninsula on the Eurasian landmass.
